I'm Jay, Co-founder of ACE Sports Store.
I have been playing tennis since the age of 10. Competing for Hampden Park and Sussex County up to the age of 16.
I returned to competitive tennis in 2016, building my skills back up to become Captain of Maidstone Lawn Tennis Club’s (MTLC) B Team and taking over as Chairman of MTLC in 2022.
In January 25 I completed my LTA level 2 coaching qualification. I have been a competitive Pickleball player for last 2 years and supporting beginners into the sport.
I have spent most of my career working for a leading food retailer, covering various roles including store manager for 9 years. For the last 5 years I have undertaken various roles in head office, including Operations Development and Transformation Project Manager. During this time I focused on future growth and strategy, concentrating on enhancing the shopping experience.
Jay lepine
I’m Zane, Co-founder of ACE Sports Store and Owner of HOTSHOTZ Tennis.
I started playing tennis at a young age and obtained a junior world ranking. I started coaching when I was 16, became Head Coach at Horsmonden Tennis Club in 2002 and established HOTSHOTZ Tennis in 2015.
In January 2019 I gained my LTA Level 5 Masters Club Coach qualification, becoming one of only a few coaches in the country to have passed the course.
I still enjoy competing and am currently ranked in the top 10 in the world for singles and doubles, in the over 40s category. In 2023 I was proud to captain and play in the Great Britain over 40s team championships, getting to the quarter finals in doubles and semi finals in singles.
I was voted Kent coach of the year in 2012 and the Regional Tennis coach of the year for 2023 and in the same year I came runner up for the national coach of the year.
